Shopping like this picture is timely not possible under the current restrictions against COVID-19.

But maybe you have opportunities now to receive paper bags from food delivery service or
take out meals.
Today I’m going to show you how functional they are to organize your stuff.

Paper bag is an ideal alternative to a drawer.

For example…　in the kitchen pantry.
Where circled in red, you see that?

↑ This is the lowest space of the kitchen pantry and it has a folding door.

In order to use the depth effectively I looked for a drawer which;

• fits to 30cm (Height) x 30cm (Depth).
• avoides dust.

But I didn’t find any.

Then, suddenly I discovered that ↓this↓ fits the depth!
Plus, I thought that this will function like a drawer.

Now, let’s adjust the height to 30 cm.

1. Fold down the top edge.
   
2. Fold the top inside and it’s done! This way it becomes sturdier than cutting it off.
   
3. Place it
   

Isn’t it nice?
Just by sliding the bag you can put things in and out.
And no dust komes in!

1 bag = 1 category : A golden rule to keep things organized

Now, let’s see what’s in each bags : (from right to left)

• Sause in a bottle, seasoning and bloks of vegetable/ chicken stock in boxes.
  These are used once 2-3 monthes.
• Packed dried food. Such as noodles, seaweeds etc.
  These are used once a week.
• Zipper bags in boxes
  These are used every 2-3 days.
• Table runner, table mats and table napkins.
  These are used every day.

By assorting per category and frequency of use,
you will save time and energy because everything has its own place.
There is no need to spend time searching around anymore!

8 advantages of using a paper bag as a storage item.

Paper bag is not only economical but also adjustable/ customizable in many ways.

1. Height adjustable.
   Adjust the height by folding the top inside. 
2. Hygienic.
   You can easily change it to another one when it gets torn or dirty.
3. Flexible shape.
   It gets a little wider when you put a bit too much in it.
   No worry, put anything you want 😉
4. Less movement required to you.
   Unlike a box,  you don’t have to open the lid or zipper. You have one movement less! All you do is just to slide it towards you to take out something from it, just like a drawer.
5. Large variety.
   You have a lot of choice in colour, size and material.
6. Categorizing.
   Easy to follow 1 category = 1 bag  sorted by colour, patterns or design.
7. Less visual stress.
   It allows you to hide the mess because inside the bag is only visible from above and is kept invisible from the side. So choose the paper bag which sparks joy to you!
8. Foldable.
   It saves space to store when it is not in use.

It’s just a paper bag.

But it’s great!
