HARMONIZE! focuses on 『住』”living”, which is one of the three important principles in Japan.
『衣』 = Clothing: sewing
『食』 = Food: cooking
『住』 = Living: cleaning, cleaning, washing and maintaining
『住』 provides healthy, clean and safe living environment.
That is why cleaning and tidying up is an important combination for me.
One day at the kitchen I suddenly got an inspiration to make a little “cleaning tool”
which makes super easy to clean such a narrow space,
between the dishwasher and the kitchen countertop.
This little space I did not dare to even take a look at because I knew it should seem dusty and very dirty…
Indeed, what I saw there was a layer of dust and little pieces of trash… (ﾉ)ﾟД｡(ヽ) Oh!NO!
Now, it’s time to clean it up.
Let’s see what helps for it.
Pick up a pair of “菜箸 saibashi” ( =cooking chopsticks).
They are much longer than the general chopsticks for table use.
This one on the picture is 40cm long.
Then, wrap and roll the kitchen paper …
and bind them with elastic.
Spray some cleaner and let’s see how it works!
It reaches smoothly to the very end of the dishwasher depth.
Look what I got!!
Now I do not hesitate anymore to see this little space.
It makes me even want to clean again because I know what will work!
If you were me, how would you do it?
If you look for some handy cleaning tool, take a good look at what you already have in the house and use your imagination. What kind of tool would help you? What can you do to solve the problem? Use your brain and repeat the process. Thinking this way, it helps you break buying things right away.
Handy tools are not always available at shops but you can also make it yourself for no money!
Furthermore, “the less you buy the more space you gain in your house.” (σ`ﾟ∀´)σ Oh yeah♪
